November Meeting and Gift Exchange Planning

Wow it is hard to believe it is already November,  Christmas and the end of the year are almost upon us.

There are just a couple of items to discuss during the meeting, such as the upcoming zoom demo by Barbara Rivolta, elections and of course the most important.  A Holiday Party!

Since it doesn’t look like we will be able to, or should have an in-person party this year.   Lets celebrate via Zoom!   Instead of our December meeting, bring snacks and a your favorite beverage and show off the things you have made this year, or your decorations or just come and meet up with everyone.

Of course our Holiday party wouldn’t be complete without the annual gift exchange, so this year I thought we could try something a little different.   I thought we could draw names and you would send or deliver your gift to the receiver.   Then at the meeting we could all open our gifts and show them off.    In the past we have exchanged earrings or ornaments so we could continue with those.

You will know who you are sending a gift to, but the recipient will not know who they are getting one from, until they receive the package.  We can work out the dates and details at the meeting.

You will not need to attend the November meeting or the Holiday party to participate.   So if you would like to join in the fun, let me know.   I will let everyone know shortly after the meeting on who to send their gift to.

Hope to see everyone on Sunday.    Of course bring something you have been working on for show and tell.
